Our client, a specialist in Cyber Security solutions for Financial Services and other markets, is entering an exciting phase of growth brought about by changing regulations and the growing need for businesses to protect their data. This is the chance for an experienced Sales Team Manager to work with C-Level Executives and drive this expansion. You will lead the existing and expanding sales team into new markets as a hands-on business development manager, and sales team leader. Our client provides Cyber Security solutions and services, protecting businesses against online threats. This role will report to C-level and will be based from our client’s office in the City of London. There is an existing sales team as well as room for expansion. The company is well established with an existing client base. This role will focus on Financial Services clients.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Leadership of the existing and expanding sales team.
  • Ownership of a sales revenue target.
  • Hands-on business development sales activities.
  • Opening up new markets for existing solutions and services.
  • Hiring and managing new salespeople, as appropriate.
  • Working closely with C-Level executives towards strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • Experience successfully driving revenue growth and meeting aggressive growth targets.
  • Experience leading and growing a sales team.
  • Extensive experience selling to UK Financial Services clients.
  • Knowledge and experience selling Cyber Security solutions or relevant solutions (e.g. operational risk, online threats, incident response, data governance, network security, etc.)
  • Ability to be based in the London (City) office with the sales team.

 

Candidates without a strong history of focusing on Financial Services clients will not be considered. Candidates with no knowledge of the relevant solution areas will also not be considered.

Salary will include an attractive base (estimated at up to £120K, up to £300K ote, and stock options. This will depend on experience.

Our client is a market leading provider of software solutions to the Financial markets globally. As part of an exciting expansion plan, the firm is opening new offices and will expand its sales team in Europe. This role will report to C-Level and will focus on selling the firm’s award-winning software platform to Insurance companies in Central & Eastern Europe. The role could be based in Frankfurt, Germany although other major cities in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) will also be considered as a base location.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and exceeding agreed sales revenue targets.
  • Utilising your contact network to develop new name business.
  • Creating and implementing sales plans in line with sales strategy.
  • Managing the end to end sales process to deal closure.
  • Developing and nurturing client relationships with senior executives, to C-Level.
  • Working closely in collaboration with Management and other internal teams.
  • Providing accurate reporting and sales forecasting.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong new business sales track record (large deal sizes, e.g. $1m+).
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions to the Insurance market in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).
  • Understanding of the Insurance market including purchasing drivers, regulatory pressures, market trends, competitive landscape for software solutions, etc.
  • Strong credibility with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious self-starter.
  • Language skills would be an advantage.

The role could be based in Frankfurt, Germany although other major cities in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) will also be considered as a base location.

Our client is a Global leader in the Trade Finance software industry. With an impressive client base, many in the FTSE 250 as well as tier one Banking Institutions. Reporting to the CEO, they are now looking to hire a hands on Sales leader to manage the current team in the UK, Europe & Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the current sales team
  • Hands on sales leadership
  • Work with the management team to develop and execute a global sales strategy
  • Establishing executive level relationships for strategic business development.
  • Delivery of high quality sales presentations encompassing business case overviews and initial demonstrations to prospective clients at business/executive and at high technical levels.
  • Provide innovative solutions and strategies to solve complex issues and client business problems.
  • Evaluation of high level client requirements, project plans, and technical approaches for the development of sales strategies.

Experience:

  • Ideally have managed a team based in APAC
  • Broad business acumen and understanding of financial services and technical processes especially in the Trade Finance and Supply Chain arena.
  • Domain expertise in international trade and/or logistics
  • Sales to multi-nationals involving cross-function internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong and proven networking skills.
  • Effective team leader adept at providing solid foundation for team autonomy in completion of goals.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets with a history of career achievement
  • Responsive, reliable and results oriented with the ability to execute on aggressive plans.
  • Ability to travel internationally, including nights or weekends as required.
  • Robust, compelling communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong presentation skills.
